Limited Activity Members (LAMS)

Some of our members at Wesley have found themselves unable to attend service on a regular basis due to age or medical infirmity. We would like to present our outstretched arms to them so they know that they are still a part of this congregation and are not forgotten.

Wesley’s LAMs ministry was begun to develop closer relationships with the home-bound members by visiting them. You might chat, share a meal, work on a puzzle, etc… You can help us with this. If you can give a small amount of your valuable time to visit one of our home-bound members, we would like to hear from you.

Activities include:

  • Home communion – corresponds with communion in church
  • Holy Club Luncheon includes an activity and communion four times a year
  • Worship service at Emeritus Assisted Living once a month

You can pick the LAM member you would like to connect with or we would help match you with one. You and the LAM member often choose the time and what you will do together.
